Hawke’s Bay Beaches, 2016

This canvas was assembled from found timber and an old wooden window frame from renovations to my family home. I grew up on the coast of Haumoana, Hawke’s Bay. This painting represents all of the Hawke’s Bay beaches and their coastal landscapes, in order from the northern beaches to the southern beaches.
