This painting is part of the exhibition “Koe: Bird calls for the past and present” held at the Outstation, Parap, Northern Territory, Australia. These paintings are of found, collected or borrowed bones, skulls and remnants of birds and other species.

Finding these a physical reminder of something that these found objects as still life studies. I am interested in their form and the contrasting shadows they make.
